Jan Basso is the AVP: Experiential Learning and Career Development.
Creating an institutional culture and purpose focussed on preparing our students through learning and experience, in and out of the classroom, to achieve their goals and contribute to society as engaged citizens. It also means committing to a supportive environment that fosters the impactful contributions and professional development of staff and faculty.
Contributing to the opportunity for students to learn about themselves, discover interests, acquire new knowledge, develop competencies, make career decisions and launch their careers. Working with colleagues in a collaborative context to build and sustain Laurier’s reputation for a high-quality, student-centred educational environment.
